Pattern Notes – Rubber Duck (No-Sew Amigurumi)

This little rubber duck is a no-sew amigurumi pattern worked entirely in continuous rounds, using US crochet terms. The duck is made from super bulky chenille yarn, creating a soft and plush texture ideal for toys, gifts, or desk decorations.

Using the recommended yarn and hook size, the finished duck measures approximately 12 cm tall and 10 cm wide, although the exact size may vary depending on individual tension.

The pattern includes a no-sew beak, crocheted directly onto the face, and instructions for adding optional cheeks and eyelashes. Safety eyes are placed between rounds 15/16, spaced 5 stitches apart

Size Options

There is one standard size, but you may create smaller or larger versions by adjusting yarn weight and hook size.

Gauge

Gauge is not critical for this amigurumi. Consistent tension is recommended to avoid visible stuffing.
