Mini Fir Wreath
Every year, we start the christmas season with making a wreath out of wonderfully fragrant fir branches. We decorate it with a red bow and hang it on our door.
This cute mini wreath is the crochet version of our pretty Christmas decoration.
Make gift tags with it, use it for fairy doors or doll houses in a 1:12 scale!
Skill-Level: easy
- Right handed tutorial, US terms
- Basics: working in rounds
- Crochet stitches: slip knot, slip stitch, chain stitch, single crochet stitch
Tools and Materials
Use any yarn you like and a smaller hook size than recommended.
For the tutorial, I used cotton yarn: Schachenmayr Catania (color 00412 moss and 00192 bordeaux) and MyBoshi No.2 (color cactus and tomato) with a sequin yarn.
You need a tiny amount of yarn, so you can use yarn scraps.
You’ll also want to have a crochet hook 2,5 mm, scissors and glue (you could weave in the ends though).
The Mini Wreath will measure about 1 in (2,5 - 3 cm) in diameter.
Happy Christmas Crafting!
