Mini Flaming Dice Bag
This little bag is intended to fit one set of standard tabletop dice, but its size can easily be adjusted both in width and height (instructions in the pattern). It can be made from any yarn weight and fiber - great for stashbusting or using up scrap yarn!
Note: The meterage/yardage listed above is for a bag without size modifications in sport to DK weight yarn.
To make the bag you will need:
- Yarn: Any yarn can be used for this pattern. The sample bag in the picture uses about 10 g / 33 m (0.35 oz / 36 yd) of a sport to DK weight handspun wool yarn.
- Crochet hook of the recommended size for the yarn or slightly smaller. The sample uses a 3.5 mm hook (US size E).
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Optional: Stitch marker or piece of scrap yarn to mark the beginning of the round
The bottom of the bag is crocheted in continuous rounds, then the sides are worked in closed rounds. It uses the Alpine stitch for a flame-like texture.
The pattern download comes with a low vision version of this pattern, written in 24 point sans serif font (Calibri) in all black text on white background with no italics. There are no charts in either version of the pattern.
