These Halloween “costumes” are made by sewing on accessories and/or making color changes for certain rounds in the Mini Chonky Cat pattern (sold separately).

Accessories Included:
witch’s hat, cauldron applique, bowtie, bat wings, fish, ghost skirt/ruffles, pumpkin top, zombie brains, and mummy wrappings

There are full video tutorials for each of the accessories. These videos are linked in the pattern beside the section titles.

About the pattern:
This pattern includes instructions for modifying the Mini Chonky Cat pattern (sold separately) into fun Halloween characters including: a witch, zombie, pumpkin, vampire cat or bat, mummy, ghost, and Frankenstein cat, and how to distress the cardboard box. These “costumes” are made by adding accessories and/or making color changes.

Accessories do need to be sewn onto the cat.

Materials - use the same yarn and hook as the Mini Chonky Cats:
Small: size 4 yarn, E/3.5mm hook
Medium: size 5 chenille, H/5mm hook
Large: size 6 blanket yarn, K/6.5mm hook
Halloween Accessories: small amount of Halloween-themed yarns in the same weight the cat was made; optional glow-in-the-dark puff paint or thread for the fish; ruler
