This cute baby sweater pattern is for a baby size 0-2 months (size 50-56), 2-4 months (62), 4-6 months (68) and 6-9 months (74). The pattern is written with US terms. The sweater is worked from top to bottom, starting with the ribbing around the neckline, working a foundation for the arms and body, then working only the body, and finishing the arms last. The pattern is worked in two colors; Color A: base color and Color B: for the ribbing and heart. The pattern is worked quite quickly, and is the perfect gift!

What you need:
Hook size: 4mm
Yarn: I used Drops merino extra fine, 100% wool, superwash, 50g (1,8 oz) - 105m (115 yds).
You can use any yarn in Yarn group B = DK (3) and Worsted (4), but be sure to check your gauge.
Tapestry needle: to sew in ends

Special stitches:
V-stitch: 1dc, ch1, 1dc in same stitch/space
Cluster: 3dc in same stitch/space

Gauge swatch:
Ch 36, In 5th ch from hook do 3 dc (a cluster) in same st, ch1. Sk3st, 1 cluster, ch1 repeat until you have 8 clusters. In the last stitch do a dc.

Ch2, turn, 2dc in ch-sp, ch1. Cluster in ch-sp, ch1 repeat until last ch-sp. Ch1, dc in the ch2 from last row. Repeat until you have at least 12 rows in total (12 rows with clusters) Measure in the middle of swatch.

11cm x 11cm: Equals approx. 9 rows with 5 clusters.
