This pattern is designed for use with a leftover amount of almost any type of yarn. Yarns listed above are just a starting point. Simply use a different size needle when working with a different yarn. Due to this feature, your mini mitten will also be smaller or larger depending on which type of yarn you have used.

Suggested needles for yarn weight:
Fingering – 2.5mm
Sport/DK – 3.0mm
Worsted – 3.5mm

Mitten pattern starts at with a ribbed cuff, increases for thumb gusset, and decreases for tip. Thumb stitches are left on hold, then picked up and knit.
