Mario inspired mini mushroom charms! These are super cute and quick to make, and its a great use for scrap yarn. Instructions for both styles (the one with spots and the one with the skull) given in pattern!

I’ve also made a video tutorial that you can find on my youtube channel here: https://youtu.be/s6E-c7ByPF0
I used Red Heart worsted weight yarns in Red, Aran and White to make the red mushroom, and switched out the red for Amethyst to make the purple one, and Spring Green for the green one. To create these charms, you’ll actually need to use crochet thread weight yarn instead. I kind of prefer to use the worsted weight yarn, though, because of the color variety. I split the Red Heart yarn in half to make crochet thread weight yarn out of worsted weight yarn. You can see how I did this in the video tutorial, but if you want to make your life easier you can skip this step and just use crochet thread, or you could also use embroidery floss.

I also used some black thread to embroider on the eyes, and a metal clasp to turn my mushrooms into charms.
