This basic Baby Romper is worked seamlessly from the bottom up and features a minimalist look with short legs and a relaxed fit – perfect for warm days, layering indoors, or as a timeless baby wardrobe essential.
The romper is knit in the round for the legs and joined to work the body as one piece. The front and back are separated at the armholes and worked flat. Straps and back are knitted in one piece, so no extra seams are needed. Shoulder buttons make dressing quick and practical, especially for newborns.

Gauge
Stockinette stitch: 21 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles
Ribbing: Use 3 mm (US 2.5) needles for a firmer edge
Adjust needle size as needed to match gauge.
