This is a free crochet pattern to make cute mini Santa sack gift pouches. They are perfect for filling with little treats as quick stocking fillers. These are quick to make, so would be ideal classroom or workplace gifts!

You can use any yarn size for these little Santa sack pouches. Just use a suitable hook size for your yarn. Exact gauge is not important for this project.

I have used Aran/Worsted weight acrylic yarn with a 5mm hook. My pouch measures approximately 3” in diameter to the widest point by 2.5” high. A nice handful size, a little smaller than a tennis ball. I have filled mine with traditional Christmas chocolate coins.
