The Mini Skein Shawl is the perfect project for a knitter wanting to try their first shawl.
Knit from side to side, in garter stitch, it grows into an asymmetrical triangle that drapes perfectly when wrapped around your neck and shoulders. You’ll be done before you know it, and itching to make another. Stash bust full skeins and scraps or hunt for sock weight minis from indie dyers and local yarn stores. The color combinations are endless!

Yarn: 100 grams of sock weight yarn, or fingering weight yarn
Yardage: 435 yards / 425 meters
Suggested yarn: Mini Ares by Treliz (Sock Weight; 75% superwash merino, 40% nylon; 20g; 87 yards/ 85 meters). 5 mini skeins required.
