Time for some fun, quick knitting and even some stash busting!

This little sock is quick to knit and is perfect as a Christmas ornament, on a Christmas card, as a gift adornment, or if you are ambitious and willing to make 24 of them, even as an advent calendar. Gift cards could be tucked inside or maybe even a mini bottle of booze. Try these as favors for guests at the holiday table by tucking their silverware in them, too!

They are knit top down with a standard heel flap and gusset and a modified star toe, so if you are a newbie, you can get some easy practice in on those techniques. These are a bit too small for standard baby socks but would work for preemies (if that’s the case, make sure to cast on loosely).

Note: I knit socks on 4 DPNs at a time, I have attempted to generalize my instructions for folks who use other needle set ups.
