This little Christmas Tree is knitted in the round on a circular needle and finished off with double pointed pins.

Knitting the pattern with chunky wool on 6mm needles makes for quite a tight knit - this helps the tree to keep its shape and prevent it from flopping over.

The finished tree can either be filled and used as a decoration or worn as a hat!

The 56-stich cast on is good for an average-sized adult head. Add 4 (60) for a larger head and remove 8 (48) for a child’s head. To make it less tall for smaller heads you can also remove one knit row from each layer.

The finished tree stands at around 25cm high.

It can be knitted with one 100g ball.
