This pattern is available for free.

This pattern is for a mini version of my Starburst Snowflake (see my designer profile) which is smaller and faster to make. It is a good way to use up scrapyarn and a good size for hanging on the Christmas tree or for gift tags. It also goes well with Starburst and Star Web as trio hanging in the window.

I make my snowflakes with 3-ply linen yarn because I like the fineness and rusticness of the yarn, but any yarn can be used,

The pattern is written out in UK and US terms on my blog, there is a guide to abbreviations on the blog.

There are several more snowflake patterns for free on my blog - please see my Ravelry designer profile for more or www.saraphir.com.
