When life gives you 6 feet of snow in 14 days, make a hat.

It made me so happy to work on this hat between bouts of shoveling. It’s quick and easy - so knitting it during the storm meant that it was ready to wear the next day out in the snow.

Staying with the winter theme, I used Barbara Walker’s Snowflake Lace - just detailed enough to pop in the bulky yarn. I paired the lace with a deep brim, some simple crown shaping and about 2 hours next to the fire.
