Here is my pattern for my Mint Stripe Hat, a beanie style hat that is worked from the bottom up.

The sizing is for an adult.

You’ll need 1 skein of white, and 1 skein of green (or whatever colours you choose), but, you won’t use the full skeins…in fact, you could probably make 2 hats using these 2 skeins and still have some left over (unless you make pom poms for them)

I used Tent Sale Chunky brand (from http://www.yarnfactoryoutlet.com/e-tent through Yarnspirations) but a direct substitute would be Bernat Softee Baby Chunky in Fluffy White Cloud and Surf Green. Alternatively you could use any Chunky yarn with a #5 weight.

I added a pom pom on mine. (I used my phone, and wrapped both colours of yarn around the length of it 20 times, removed it, tied it in half tight, cut the ends, and attached it to the hat).
