M I O / B O N N E T

Mio is a traditional pixie style bonnet worked in moss stitch designed to fit snug to the head, tying up under the chin with a cute pixie peak at the crown. Knit in one flat piece from the casting on edge and working towards the back of the bonnet with some gentle shaping for a close fit. The knitted piece is then folded in half with a back seam.

The bonnet features i-cord ties, knit on double pointed needles – alternatives to the i-cord ties include using twisted yarn cords, plaited yarn or ribbon.
