“Mirage” is a lacy rectangular shawl that looks simple enough yet keeps you interested to the end. Estonian “Nupp” stitches mixed with easy lace techniques make it an engaging project. Conversely, you can just skip the “Nupp” stitches replacing them with “knit” stitches or with beads.

The shawl on the picture is knitted with cobweb yarn, but you can use any lace weight yarn you like. As always you can choose between written instructions and charts. Now all you need is yarn, needles, and time.

Remember! You can knit anything two rows at a time. ♥︎

YARN
100 g of cobweb lace weight yarn (1500 m/1640 yds per 100 g)

NEEDLES
3,5 mm / US 4 / UK 10 needles for casting on and binding off
2,5 mm / US 1.5 / UK 13 needles for knitting

The shawl is knitted flat, but you can use circular needles if you feel it’s more comfortable.
