Designed to showcase tonal and variegated yarns, Mirage is a textured sock pattern that hovers on the edge of optical illusion. Just like the phenomena of the same name, this pattern can play tricks on your eyes—from one angle, you see a light, slipped-stitch style texture, while from another, you see a deeper honey-comb pattern.

The stitch pattern blends together the colors of tonal and variegated yarns, harmonizing the wildest of color combinations. The structure of the sock features a reverse twisted rib cuff and a patterned heel flap, in addition to the extra-stretchy leg and foot sections. Knit with a light-weight yarn, these socks are suitable for any time of year. These socks are worked from the top down and the pattern is written and not charted.
