Temperature blankets can be a huge commitment and daunting if you are new to making them.

The Mirage temperature blanket consists of 12 monthly blocks that are joined together to make a large lap blanket.

Each block is 16” x 16” (including border) that tracks the highs and lows each day.

Samples use 2 degrees Celcius increments and 20 colours, for a temperature range of 0 - 38 C (30 - 102 F)

You can use as many colours as you want and a different temperature range, thus the yarn amounts are only a guide.

Skill level - intermediate

Materials
8ply/Dk/3 weight yarn in 20 colours (2 C increments) plus border colour
4.5mm hook
Scissors, needle to sew in ends, Stitch markers

Pattern features
Available in US and UK terms
Video tutorial available
Pictures to help you get started and for the border
Optional border - double border to hide ends.
Bonus temperature record sheet when purchasing the PDF
