Miriam's summer top
This top is started in the round from the collar and then shoulder saddles are seamlessly extended from it by knitting flat. Front stitches are picked up from the saddle end of rows and transferred from the collar front. The upper front is worked flat in two different stitch patterns; Daisies and Bell lace. The back is worked the same way as the front before the two are joined together under the armhole and the lower body is worked in Supple rib in the round until the end. The bottom of the body includes some simple cables to add some firmness to it.
The gauge varies with stitch pattern, which the pattern stitch count accounts for.
Gauge Daisies and Supple rib: 20 sts x 24 rows
Gauge Bell lace: 16 sts x 26 rows (however very flexible)
The yardage is for back length (cm/inches): (m/yards)
Small 49/20 (cm/inches): 459/502 (m/yards)
Medium 52/21: 532/582
Large 50/20: 590/645
XL 51/20: 657/719
XXL 52/21: 712/779
3XL 52/21: 797/872
4XL 53/21: 849/929
Testers rated the pattern difficulty 5.5/10.
