Spring: Míriel - meaning jewel-like

An Elven Reckoning - a year of knits from the last homely house is a collection of twelve beautiful garments and accessories inspired by the stories of Elves that inhabit Middle-Earth from J.R.R. Tolkien’s books.
In this book designer Sarah Alderson will take you on a journey through the six seasons that make up an elven reckoning.
The twelve beautiful patterns feature a wide range of design elements, from cables to stranded colourwork, slipped stitch patterns to lace. Sarah has created a pattern for every person (and Elf!).

This beautiful cape, with its flowing lace pattern, is perfect for the changeable spring weather in the valley.
Knitted flat from the ruffeled edge up, the lace flows into an eyelet row with pretty ribbons to tie around the neck.
