A fresh and modern take on a classic ribbed beanie. Once the rib pattern is established, this beanie will knit up quickly and easily. The crown shaping adds fun, visual interest, and you will love the way it feels knit out of June Cashmere Fingering. You may just want to knit one in every color!

NOTES: The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. A rib stitch pattern is worked for the main fabric. Decreases are used to shape the crown, and a long tail is threaded through the remaining stitches to close the top of the hat.

Both written and charted instructions are given for the Mirror Crown Shaping.
