DESCRIPTION
The Mirror Bloom Cowl is a standard tube-style cowl pattern.
It begins with a provisional cast-on using scrap yarn.
The colorwork motif begins immediately and is repeated, in full, to the desired length.
The fabric is then seamed together from end-to-end to form one continuous loop or each end of the cowl is seamed to itself to create a scarf (only in the largest size).
SIZES
Single Cowl (Doubled cowl or scarf)
Both sizes will result in a cowl that is 26.25” (66.5 cm) in circumference and 10” (25.5 cm) wide when worn. If making the scarf it will be 10” (25.5 cm) wide and 52.5” (133 cm) long.
Sample is made in the Single Cowl.
The single cowl will be a “standard” cowl that you just drop on over your head. The double cowl is twice as long and will require the wearer to wrap it around their neck resulting in two layers. Alternatively, the knitter can seam the front of each opening to the back to close off each end and create a scarf.
