This Harry Potter inspired dog sweater has measurements for a medium sized dog (measurements are in the pattern).

• DESCRIPTION

The dog sweater is easy to make, with beginner to advanced beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create ribbing and it will also introduce you to decreasing and shaping.

This sweater will be super cozy for your dog to wear in the cold weather.

Yarn

3 x skeins of super bulky/super chunky/14 ply yarn.

I used Hayfield Super Chunky With Wool in shade 0053 – Hollyhocks (main color).

Yarn in a coordinating color (mustard) for the stitched letter in the same yarn weight.

Needles

Set of 10.00mm (US 15) 20″ or 24″ circular knitting needles

Set of 10mm (US 15) straight knitting needles

• SKILLS

Level – Easy

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing and decreasing.

• SIZING

The back piece of the sweater measures – length = 28″ / width = 12″

Chest piece – length = 23″ / width = 9″

Sleeves – length = 3″ / width = 6″

To adapt to your dog – measure the length and width of the back/chest and adjust the pattern according to their measurements.
