In this tutorial you will find step by step instruction on how to knit a cute bear toy.

Materials you need:
• wool yarn (one color for the bear body and two colors for his jacket) in weight 100 g (3.5 oz) / 200 m (219 yards)
• 5 knitting needles in size 3 mm (3 US or 11 UK)
• yarn needle
• toy filling to stuff the bear body
• floss thread for embroidery nose and eyes
• scissors

Gauge: 23 stitches and 30 rows = 4’’ (10 cm) in stocking stitch.

Size: The finishing toy is about 25 cm (9.5 inch) tall. You can take another yarn and knitting needles in a size suitable for the yarn weight and get another size of your bear.
