Miss Judith’s Shoulder Shawl begins at center back and is worked down and outward. It is knit in an all-over lace candleflame pattern, with Faroese shaping which features an expanding lace center panel. This shaping, plus additional increase stitches, produces a wide crescent with a generous wingspan. The shawl is suitable for hand-painted, tonal, or solid color yarn. I named this shawl for my treasured friend, Judith E.
