Every Princess needs a lacy dress, especially if she is just discovering her own style and loves to dress up like the big girls. The lacy skirt is designed to be mid-calf to ankle length. The dress could also be worn over leggings or tights. The lace is not see-through, but a slip could be used underneath, if preferred.

The dress is knit in the round from the scalloped hem upward. The bodice is worked in slip-stitch rib which allows for generous ease. Lacy elbow-length sleeves and a dainty collar finish off the top with charm.

This yarn does tend to stretch when wet, so wash by hand and lay the dress flat to dry without stretching the fabric. Lay dress on thick towel, out of direct sunlight to dry.
