YARN

Miss Purl fingering weight yarn (75% merino, 25% nylon)
One full skein (463 yards) for MC and 1 mini skein (92 yards) for each of 3 CC.
Sample uses Lula (bright berry) for the main color and Iejah (green), Helen (pink) and Elvie B (yellow) minis as CC1, CC2 and CC3. You should have yarn leftover from the MC but will use almost all of each of the three mini-skeins.

I have been wanting to create a combination crochet/knit project for a while now, and Miss Purl’s beautiful yarn combined with her birthday celebration seemed like the perfect opportunity to write up this light, bright, easy-breezy shawl! Both the knitting and the crochet skills are relatively basic, making it the perfect project for the knitter who’s been wanting to try crochet or the crocheter who’s looking to dabble in knitting. Adventurous beginners and seasoned makers alike will enjoy the variety of stitches and opportunity to customize the colors.
