After making the pattern for Emma Fingerless gloves we thought that Miss Woodhouse would love to have a shawl to go with it. And frankly we just love that stitch! For those who are wondering who we are talking about, we are referring to the character of Jane Austen novel. The shawl can be worn in a multitude of ways.

The Miss Woodhouse Shawl is a basic triangle shawl, you can easily adjust the size by making more repeat. The frilly border adds a dainty touch, and we thought would suit Emma Woodhouse. Like most of our creation, the Miss Woodhouse Shawl is an easy knit.

For each pattern, we include a checklist for you to track the progress of your knitting. Once a row or a round is completed, check it! This little tool will help you avoid asking yourself the famous question: ‘Where was I?’

One size (Adjustable)

Materials
• Yarn: 1000 yds of Light Fingering (3 ply). The model shown was knitted with Woolike from Loops and Threads.
• Needle: US 5 (3.75mm) circular to accommodate the number of stitches
• 4 stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

Gauge
• 24 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinet stitch US 5 (3.75 mm)

Après avoir créé le patron des gants sans doigts Emma nous avons pensé que Miss Woodhouse aimerait avoir un châle qui s’agencerait et franchement nous adorons ce point! Pour ceux qui se demandent de qui l’on parle, nous faisons référence au personnage du roman de Jane Austen. Ce châle peut se porter de plusieurs façons.

Le châle Miss Woodhouse est un châle en triangle de base, vous pouvez facilement en ajuster la grandeur en effectuant plus de répétition des sections comme indiquées dans le patron. La bordure à volant ajoute une touche très féminine et nous pensons que cela irait à merveille à Miss Woodhouse. Comme la majorité de nos créations le châle Miss Woodhouse est facile à réaliser.
