Sometimes all it takes is a single piece of clothing that feels like a safe place. This cardigan is exactly that – a quiet embrace. Every stitch carries a touch of warmth. It was made for days when the world feels a little rough, for walks in the golden autumn light, or for quiet evenings when all you want is to wrap yourself up and simply be.

Mister Cardigan is worked from the bottom up in rows. You work the back piece and front pieces each separately and crochet it together in the end to produce a strong seam on the sides to give the cardigan structure.
The arms are worked separately in the round.
After the arms are joined to the main piece and the side seams are closed, you work the collar and the pockets.

GAUGE: 9 sts x 14 rows = 10 cm on 6 mm needles with yarn held double in pattern

SIZE: The pattern is written for one size with following finished measurements.

Width: 68 cm
Length: 127 cm

It´s easy to adjust to your size, if you want the cardigan shorter or smaller/bigger in the width. Just add/remove width to the back and front pieces while staying in the pattern of the Fishermans Rib.
The width and length of the arms you can adjust on the go, as the back and front pieces are joined together in the end. Leave just the amount of space open which fits the width of an arm.
