Gauge

20 sts and 29 rows = 10x10cm (4x4”) in Stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. The swatch is made with 4 mm (US 6, UK 8) knitting needles.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

Yarn: ITO So Kosho (90% Wool, 10% Cashmere) 50 g/ 175 m (191 yds) – 0967 Top Angora 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7 skeins + ITO Sensai (60% Mohair, 40% Silk) 20 g/ 240 m (262 yds) – 0330 White 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5 skeins.

Note: you can choose another yarn brand. It can be any 10ply, worsted weight yarn that allows you to obtain the correct gauge.

● A pair of 4.0mm (US 6, UK 8) 80 – 100 cm/ 32 - 40” circular needles or straight needles for the main body.
● A pair of 2.5mm (US 1.5, UK 12-13) 80 – 100 cm/ 32 - 40” circular needles for the bottom, armholes and collar ribbing. If you are not using the Magic Loop method, you’ll need 40 cm/ 16” circular needles or DPNs for the armholes framing.
● Tapestry needle
● Stitch holder or some waste yarn
● 3 buttons (choose the button size based on the final size of your knitted buttonholes, approx. 3 cm/ 1-1.25” in diameter.
