After the release of my first pair of Christmas Socks in 2024, I was already thinking about the next Christmas Design: what about socks with mistletoes on it? I started designing again with pencils and paper, but it wasn’t as easy as I thought. Mistletoe leaves are not as distinguish as holly leaves and a sock is certainly not big enough for a whole mistletoe. Sometime in summer during a run I saw little children in the park with daisy chains on their heads and I got inspired with the final design.

You can find charts for charts for 60, 64, 68 and 72 stitches as well as ladderback charts.

Material
You will need:

  • 4-ply fingering sock yarn in your choice of colors (I’ve used grey as main color, green for the mistletoe leaves, white for the bobbles(approximately 8 meters), and the tiniest bit of red for the bow)
  • Your preferred sock nneedles in 2.25 mm and 2.5 mm sizes, or the sizes you usually use forncolorwork socks
  • Tapestry needle
  • 2 stitch markers
  • Optional: a smallncrochet hook, such as 1.5 mm, which can be helpful for working the bobbles
