Yarn & Materials
Perfect for using up leftover yarn!
Use yarn suitable for 4 mm needles, can be wool / wool and cotton / cotton / synthetic blend etc.
The dark blue vest was made using a blend of wool and acrylic (dark blue), and another yarn that is a wool-cotton blend (blue). Together with 1 strand of mohair, the correct gauge was achieved.
The pink vest was made with Ideal by Bergère de France: 50% wool, 50% acrylic, 50 g = 125 m.
Choose mohair of your preference, but note: use the same meterage as the main yarn, which is likely heavier than the mohair.

Construction & Style Notes
The body is knit in the round, starting at the bottom with ribbing, then stockinette. At the underarm, the body is divided into front and back and knit flat.
At the neckline, the right and left sides are knit separately. Stitches are then picked up around the armhole and neckline to work ribbing.
There is a slanting line (like a raglan decrease) from the underarm to the neckline on both front and back pieces.
