This is a V-shaped shawl that is knit in a pattern of mitered squares. V-shaped shawls are comfortable to wear because they stay in place without shawl pins. the pattern looks great in a solid color or a long repeat variegated yarn. The squares are not sewn together, they are created by picking up stitches from one mitered square and then as the new square is knit it is attached to the original square.
