This cowl was designed to utilize two yarns together but it can just as effectively be knit in a single yarn. The stitch pattern is a combination of an easy lace pattern and seed stitch, forming a very interesting texture. The sample was knit using Knit Picks Cornmeal Palette and Tarragon Aloft together. Some amazing color combinations can be developed using Palette and Aloft together. It could also be knit using a different fingering weight yarn and halo yarn together, or in a sport or DK weight yarn. The materials needed include US size 7, 32 inch circular needle and 300 yards of sport or DK weight yarn. If combining fingering and lace weight yarns together, you will need 300 yards of each. Try combining one color of fingering weight yarn with a different color lace weight yarn to create a whole new color.
