A quick easy project for gift giving. Great driving mitts that will keep your hands warm and cozy. You might have enough yarn left over from your Toquelicious hat to knit these mitts to match. (I knit the small adult hat and had enough but a tester who knit the extra large had to supplement with just a bit more yarn for the thumbs).

Materials :
Yarn: 1 skein FireFlyFibreArts, any fingering weight, 420 yards/115g.
1 skein FireFlyFibreArts, Lace Downy, 459 yards/ 50g.
Sample was knit in Berrylicious Tweed and Merlot Downy.
Needles:
3.75mm (US 5) double point needles.
4.5 mm (US 7) double point needles.
Notions:
2 Stitch markers, waste yarn, tape measure, tapestry needle.

Gauge:
22sts x 28rows in 4 inches (10cm).
2 strands of fingering weight yarn with one strand of lace weight is equal to Heavy DK- Light Worsted weight yarn. Doing a WPI test will help with yarn gauge.
