The Miu Top features a snug, cinched ribbed waist and a relaxed, drapey upper body with generous ease at the bust. The wide boat neckline can be styled in multiple ways - worn off one shoulder, both shoulders, or straight across for a more classic look. It is designed with approximately 3-5 inches of positive ease at the bust for a roomy and relaxed silhouette. You can easily adjust the fit by modifying the number of rows in certain sections to suit your torso length or bust preferences!

Key techniques used:
German twisted cast on, kfb, SSK, k2tog, SSP, P2tog, 2x2 rib

Sizes
(XS) S (M) L (XL)

To fit body measurements (approximate):
Bust: (29-31) 31-33 (34-36) 37-40 (41-44) in
Waist: (21-23) 23-25 (26-29) 30-33 (34-36) in

Note: XS–L have been fully tested and XL test is almost complete. The instructions for XL are included in this version (v1.0) and I’ll be adding modeled photos and incorporating any final tweaks in an update soon (v1.1)! I also hope to expand the pattern to include 2XS and 2XL in the near future x

Yarn
Because we want the ribbing to be snug, I would recommend using a wool or wool blend yarn that holds its shape over time. You are welcome to experiment with different fibres but I would suggest either using even smaller needles for the ribbing to keep it tight! You can always refer to the schematic dimensions to help you match the intended fit!

Light grey sample: sport weight merino wool held with a strand of kid silk mohair
Brown sample: light DK wool cotton blend, but sized down from my usual.

The best choices for yarn would be a sport or light DK-weight that meets gauge (especially wool or wool blends) :)

This is my first fully developed knitting pattern - thank you to all my lovely testers who helped me with this!
