Named for the Miura-ori, a Japanese folding technique built from a repeating grid, the Miura Socks turn that same sense of structure into graphic colorwork.

There are no long floats to snag or fuss with. It’s the kind of colorwork that looks striking yet is not complicated. All colorwork is charted.

NOTES
The socks are worked cuff-down with a classic French heel and wedge toes. Gusset decreases are placed along the sole, leaving the colorwork motif uninterrupted across the instep and leg.
