Le taglie sono 2: M e L rispettivamente per circonferenza testa tra 53 e 56cm, e oltre 56cm.
Le istruzioni illustrano sia come costruire il gomitolo a partire dalle rimanenze di filati sottili (fingering), sia come lavorare il berretto.
Il campione è di circa 22 maglie in dieci cm, ma ci possono essere delle piccole variazioni dovute ai differenti filati che, pur essendo sempre fingering, possono avere qualche differenza di spessore o consistenza.
