Mixed-Stitch Convertible Cap
Thank you for checking out my first EVER written pattern. I am very excited to be able to offer it to fellow Ravel-ers!
This cap features a brim that can be worn folded up or down in front.
Stitches used are dc, third loop hdc (tlhdc), fpdc/bpdc, ch and sl st.
I used a J (6.0mm) hook and Vanna’s Choice Worsted Weight Yarn in Gray Marble for the hat pictured in the pattern.
Two buttons are required to attach to the edges of the brim.
This pattern is INTERMEDIATE level and crocheters should be familiar with the stitches noted above (videos are widely available on you tube if you need to learn these stitches).
Pattern is written in US crochet terms.
Suggested yarn is Vanna’s Choice Solids or Heathers. I have used other comparable worsted weight yarns (ie, Michael’s Impeccable) and it has worked the same when the pattern is followed as noted.
NOTE: it has come to my attention that hats being made from this pattern are being sold and noted as “original” by certain makers. I ask that you please give pattern credit where it is due. I offer the pattern free so that all may enjoy but taking credit for something that you did not create is just plain wrong. Altering the pattern to suit other sizes does not make it yours either. Kindly refrain from taking credit or action will be taken. Thank you for understanding.
