Mixtape is a reversible hat with a wide brim. Worked from the bottom up, it uses alternating knit
and purl stitches to create a uniquely textured, unisex hat.

Needles:
Size 6 (4.0mm), 20” (50 cm) circular needles, (or double point needles, if desired)
Size 7 (4.5mm), 20” (50 cm) circular needles,
Size 7 (4.5mm) double point needles for crown shaping
OR sizes needed to obtain gauge

Gauge: 24 sts x 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in pattern, unblocked

Sizes: small/medium (6.5” wide, 17 cm blocked), medium/large (8.5” wide, 22 cm blocked)

Notions:
1 stitch marker, to mark beginning of round
Optional: 7 (8) additional stitch markers of a different style to notate pattern repeats
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
