This minimal knits | DESIGNED seamless baby pullover is made in the round, top-down with a spacious integrated rib neckband. When the knitting is finished all we have to do is weave in lots of ends.

I made this design to use leftover yarns in three colours. A little way after the stocking stitch yoke is complete, we work the body in all three colours using the linen technique. It simply involves alternating knit stitch and slipped stitch holding the yarn very gently in front. However, this technique tightens up the stitches very significantly, so we have to change to much larger than usual needles for that part of the body.

Depending on your yarn choices this pullover is perfect for a little boy or girl.

The pictured pullover was made with DK/8ply Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury in the colour Shadow, Mayflower Easy Care in the colour Mock Orange and Mayflower Easy Care in the colour Burnt Ochre

Skill Level Easy… even though it might include a technique you haven’t used before, the pattern contains simple, straightforward instructions and notes on where to look for more information.
