Welcome to our May square for our MKAL Seasonal Blanket!

This pattern is great for beginners who are just learning how to knit, or more experienced knitters who want to learn more techniques or just want to make a fun blanket!

Our focus this month is on the trellis and leaf stitch. You will create a cute square with leaves that are supposed to look like they’re growing up a trellis.

For May we are using 2 skeins of Jody Long Carnival yarn in Salvador (I will say, it is QUITE busy for the pattern, so if you have a solid color I would recommend using that). There will be some yarn leftover, remember to keep it so you can put your blanket together at the end!

Gauge: 20sts = 4” in stockinette, blocked

Each block should be 12” x 12”, but you can make it smaller or larger
