Crochet your own beautiful Mochila Pikachu bag with this easy to follow tutorial. The pattern includes full written instructions as well as charts.

This pattern is for a small size bag, the final dimensions are approximately 5” (12 cm) in diameter, and 7” (18 cm) tall. The strap woven for the pictured bag measures 50” (127 cm).

In the written pattern you will find:

  • 1 chart for the bottom of the bag (with instructions for 8, 10, and 12 increases)

Experience Needed:
Basic crochet skills. How to start with a magic circle/ring, how to increase in the round, and how to change colors.

Scheepjes Catona (100% mercerized cotton, 125 m/50 g)
A – Yellow Gold (208) 2 x 50 g
B – Hot Red (115) 1 x 50 g
C – Snow White (106) 1 x 50 g
D – Jet Black (110) 1 x 50 g
E – Root Beer (157) 1 x 25 g

you may substitute other brands of yarn, but for the best results, and the proper size bag, make sure the yarn you purchase is 100% mercerized cotton and 125m/50g.
