This is a men’s guernsey sweater knitted flat and seamed. It features a decorative band of patterned stitching across the chest and a textured stitch for the torso. Shoulders are dropped and body has straight shaping. Hip band, cuffs, and neck are finished with 1x1 ribbing. Neck edge is turned under and tacked down.

SCC also offers a women’s cardigan using the same stitch patterns, S-191: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mock-ribbed-guern...
