MAJ is a classic Nordic sweater with clean design lines. The name came from the vertical lines on the yoke.

The sweater is intended to be worn with 4-8 cm of positive ease in the bust.

Yarn
This design is made 2 strands of Pelsuld 8/2 from Hjelholt Uldspinderi.
You can of course choose to knit with a different yarn – Håndværksgarn from Hjelholt Uldspinderi, Jensen and a thin mohair from Isager, or Lett Lopi from Istex are all good options.
Just remember to doublecheck your gauge if your knit in another yarn.

The sweater can be knit in 2 or 3 colors.

Knit in two 2 colors
Main color: 700 (800) 800 (900) 1000 m
Pattern color: 100 m

Knit in 3 colors
Main color: 600 (700) 700 (800) 900 m
Pattern color 1: 200 m
Pattern color 2: 100 m

Gauge: 17 sts x 24 rounds = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette and pattern on larger needles with two strands held together
