This is a modern take on the granny square. The very versatile design lends itself to both variegated and solid color yarns. Make it your own! experiment with color!
As it has four stitches used throughout (chain stitch, triple crochet, slip stitch and single crochet) it is a nice piece for a beginner.
This can be a baby blanket, a small throw or even a large one for your bed.
This pattern calls for 8 skeins of Classic Elite Liberty Wool (worsted weight) and 8 different colorways… but you can do it however you want. I have seen it in one colorway and it is beautiful. I am doing one in a solid and it’s really nice too.
