Pattern originally published in Knotions Mag, September 2021.

This basic pattern is an easy, semi-cropped V-neck knit construction, made by combining two identical rectangles worked from bottom front to bottom back and joint together on the sides and back. Optionally, 2 buttons, and 2 chain buttonhole loops may help to tie the vest.

The colorwork combines vertical stockinette stripes, intarsia, and stranded knitting. The pattern is bordered by twisted 1x1 ribbing and includes just a little embroidery for accent. Adequate for an intermediate level of skill, it is a fast and fun project to make.

Each rectangle measures approximately 36 (38, 40”)” 90, 95, 100 cm long, 10 (11, 12) ”25, 27,5, 30 cm wide once blocked.
