MODIFIED DROP SHOULDER T-TOP is made much like the basic sweater. The fit is very similar so whatever size and adjustments worked on the basic sweater will work on this one. The difference between the two designs is that there is a little bit of armhole shaping. Though very simple and square, the shaping does remove some excess fabric from the underarm area which can make the fit more flattering and more comfortable. The modified dropped shoulder works for either short or long sleeves. Short sleeves are given in this pattern. This pattern includes a V neckline. The V neck can be imposed on any of the other personal best patterns by substituting the neckline shaping given here for that in the other pattern. The back neck shaping given here is flat but if you have already learned that you prefer to lower the back neckline, you can do so. Shoulder adjustments for perfect fit are included in this pattern. Achieve your personal best look for every sweater you create by using the fitting principles in this book.
