Moebius Dream is a versatile circular scarf that can also be worn as a shawl or a cowl.
The moebius construction means it’s worked from the center outwards, and looks great with gradient yarn like a Whirl!

The pattern has both charts and written instructions, as well as close up pictures. It uses US terminology. You also get a printer friendly version, in black and white with no pictures!
Forming the moebius ring is very easy, with lots of pictures to help you out.

There are two options for the last section of the scarf, depending on your gauge and how much yarn you have left. You will either end after the basket weave (ending A), or continue with 6 more rows of front post double crochet and eyelets (ending B).

Stitches used:

  • ch: chain
  • hdc: half double crochet
  • dc: double crochet
  • ss: slip stitch
  • fpdc: front post double crochet
  • bpdc: back post double crochet
  • fptr: front post treble crochet
  • bptr: back post treble crochet

Hook: 3.5 mm (E) or size to achieve gauge

Yarn: Scheepjes Whirl or similar fingering weight yarn

Estimated yardage: 1000 meters (1094 yards)

Gauge in double crochet (10cm/4inch)
• Ending A: 19 dc in 10cm/4inch
• Ending B: 23 dc in 10cm/4inch

If your gauge is 20, 21 or 22 stitches, you can work the pattern with ending A. If your gauge is superior to 23 stitches, you can work the pattern with ending B. In both cases you will have some yarn leftover when using a Scheepjes Whirl.

You can contact me through Ravelry or Instagram if you have issues with the pattern. This is not my full time job so I cannot promise a prompt reply, but I will try my best!
